This summer, a partnership with sports radio station 1010 XL is helping spread the word about Achievers For Life and mentoring. For mentee Darion, the partnership also offered him a chance to explore his dream career of sports journalism.

Darion and his mentor, Phillip, went to the studio to record PSAs, but received a full experience when they got to tour the studio and meet with sports reporters before their recording session. Show hosts Jeff Prosser and Dan Hicken invited Phillip and Darion to listen in on a live show, giving Darion a great look into what his future career could be like. After a busy morning, they headed into the recording booth to produce ads that ran on 1010XL during the SEC and ACC media weeks.
